Patrick Yocum
Deputy General Manager
Pat Yocum is the deputy general manager of Washington TRU Solutions. He is responsible for supporting the general manager and providing guidance for all departments with emphasis on budget, program management and strategic planning. The general manager’s office provides technical, operational and administrative direction for carrying out the company’s scope of work safely and cost-effectively.
Yocum has more than 37 years of nuclear experience in the U.S. Navy nuclear program, domestic and international commercial nuclear power electrical generating facilities and U.S. Department of Energy sites. Most recently he served as project manager for several treatment technologies projects for Washington Group International. He has also supported Washington Group’s efforts on defense projects, the Waste Treatment Plant at the Hanford Reservation in Washington and a partnership with AREVA Corporation.
His commercial experience includes serving as plant manager at Clinton Power Station in Clinton, Ill. and as site vice president at the Bruce Nuclear Station in Ontario, Canada. He holds a Senior Reactor Operators License issued by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Yocum holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Illinois.
