Raeburn Josey
General Counsel
Raeburn S. Josey has provided legal and litigation management services on behalf of URS Washington Division and its predecessor affiliates for more than nine years.
As manager of the Washington TRU Solutions LLC Legal Office at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant , Josey provides and oversees the delivery of legal services to management and all departments, including Human Resources, Procurement Contract, Operations, Engineering, Environmental and Safety and Health. He also selects and manages outside counsel, supports the negotiation of various agreement and compliance matters and regulatory permitting efforts.
Josey holds a BS degree in Urban Administration and a Juris Doctorate from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Ga. He is active in state and community affairs, having served on the boards of various non-profit organizations such as United Way, Con Alma and the AWARE Program.
Josey routinely speaks to various professional, civic and youth groups and organizations. A resident of Carlsbad, N.M., Josey has two college-age daughters.
